Alliance 3v3 Developmental League!!

This club neutral developmental program is designed with the local Long Island player in mind. Our goal is to give our youngest players an opportunity to participate in competitive weekend 3v3/4v4 games where they can showcase their creativity without the pressure of organized team play. The format for the program is simple. Registered players arrive to the session, quickly go over the topic for that week, get split into teams and start to play. We place our most experienced and strongest coaches on the fields for game play to ensure players are being coached thoroughly in the topic. Having coached this level for over 15 years we understand the importance of targeted and focused instruction. Our philosophy still remains that the game is the best teacher. What this program will do is place players in real game situations, with specific objectives and tangible goals. Many of the players this age may not have access to high level training and for those that do this will serve as a supplemental environment to hone their skills. Although the program is open to players of all abilities we will put an emphasis on creating a high intensity environment. Positive reinforcement and motivation will be the driving force behind the coaching. Players are encouraged to sign up with their current teammates/friends but the league will not keep official teams/standings.

Format:

- 3v3 or 4v4 no GK

- Focus on how to play in a triangle or diamond

- Focus on movement with and without the ball

- Increased creativity and confidence in possession

- Train how to identify and avoid pressure

- Focus on decision making and speed of play

- Increased repetition with specific goals and objectives

While other similar programs are focused on teaching children how to fit in on a travel team in the future, our goal is to make sure they stand out!!

Dates: 4/18, 4/25, 5/2, 5/9, 5/16, 5/30, 6/6, 6/13

Times: BU7/U8 - 3:30-4:30pm / GU7/U8 - 4:30-5:30pm

Location: Judy Jacobs Parkway (300 Manetto Hill Rd, Plainview NY, 11803)

Ages: U7/U8 (2019-2018)

Cost: $200 per player (Includes Game Jersey + 1 NYCFC Ticket)

*All registered players will receive a game jersey as well as an NYCFC Ticket with registration
